Mutare Educació
Graphic Identity and Spatial Design
I supported Fundació Carulla with the spatial design of their event Mutare Educació which are days of co-creation and training aimed at teachers, educators, artists and cultural agents organized with the objective of connecting the cultural and educational sector.

Overview
Mutare Educació is an initiative by Fundació Carulla that brings together teachers, educators, artists, and cultural professionals to strengthen the connection between the cultural and educational sectors. Through sessions of debate, co-creation, training, and shared learning, the event highlights the role of arts and culture in education and recognizes educational centers as generators of knowledge.
My role in the project
My role focused on translating the foundation’s existing identity into a cohesive event experience. After analyzing the visual identity, I developed the graphic and interactive materials and created the spatial layout for the conference and workshop areas.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to adapt the Fundació Carulla’s existing visual identity into an event experience that could communicate Mutare Educació’s values while supporting the different activities taking place throughout the event. The designs needed to encourage participation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
Understanding

The process began with an analysis of the existing identity to understand its visual language and identify how it could be adapted to the specific needs of the event. At the same time, I considered the nature of the event and its activities, identifying the requirements of the conference and workshop areas, the graphic communication materials, and the interactive elements.
Development

Based on this analysis, I developed a range of graphic applications that extended the existing visual identity across the event. These included communication materials and interactive murals designed to encourage participation and collective knowledge-sharing among attendees.

In parallel, I designed the spatial layout for the conference and workshop areas, considering how the environment could accommodate different activities and support interaction between participants.

The Solution
The final design brought together graphic communication, interactive murals, and spatial design to create a unified experience for Mutare Educació.
