Tension
Poster Design for a design event
A series of posters exploring the relationship between solids and liquids through photography and graphic design, translating the artistic concept of Tension from the artist into a conpositions for poster designs.

Overview
Tension is a series of posters created for an event featuring an experimental photographer. The project draws on the artist’s photographic collection of the same name, which explores the relationship between solids and liquids, their interaction, and the transitions between different states. Through photography, the artist investigates this relationship as a medium for creative expression and visual experimentation.
The Challenge
The objective was to translate an abstract artistic exploration into a compelling visual communication piece without overshadowing the photographs themselves. The posters needed to convey the tension, interaction, and transformation between solids and liquids while preserving the experimental character of the artist’s work.
The Solution

I developed three poster variations, each combining photography and graphic design elements to explore a different visual interpretation of the tension concept. The compositions balance the photographic imagery with typography and graphic elements, creating a cohesive series that reflects the artist’s expressive approach while giving each variant its own visual character.
